Our new tweed travel bags are here

We’re really excited to finally have our range of tweed travel bags available for sale.

Getting them ready has been a real journey: we ran a Kickstarter campaign to get them together. That means that a whole load of people got involved early on. They trusted our vision and our ability to bring them to market, and that means we have a stunning collection of four travel bags that are ready for anything life throws at them:

Backpack – Edinburgh Castle tweed

Designing a backpack was a new challenge for us: there’s a lot of thought and work that goes into getting the straps and closures right. After a few iterations, though, it feels like we really got it with our Alpine-inspired design.

Briefcase – Tower Bridge tweed

The briefcase is a bag we’ve wanted to make for years and years. We designed a first version about three years ago, and this refined version is a huge leap in terms of the design. With padded sleeves for your laptop, a removable shoulder strap and all the pockets you’ll ever need, it’s a bag that will stay with you for years and years.

Holdall – Tower Bridge and Edinburgh Castle tweeds

The surprise hit of our Kickstarter campaign was our versatile holdall bag. Ideal for nights or weekends away, it’s a classic design that holds a surprising amount.

    Dear Emma and Pete,
Do you ever sell your unique tartans and tweeds as fabric only?

Hi Keith – sorry it’s taken me so long to spot your question! We don’t normally sell our cloths on their own but I may have a couple of shorter pieces here if you let me know what you’re after. Could I ask you to drop us an email to hello@emmacornes.com? Cheers!
